You guys! This is a must try! I had the gyro plate special today with fried rice and it was so good! I only paid $8.74 as well. Here's what it included:
Fried rice, gyro meat, vegetables, olives, feta cheese, cucumbers, cabbage, quinoa salad and taziki sauce. Then you get a choice of chips or salad bar entree and a drink!
It's so tasty and fresh. -

I went to Valentino's for my lunch break yesterday... I was craaaving tacos and was Yelping for the closest place to get them and realized I was heading to Valentino's for lunch.
I noticed no one had put their hours down on their Yelp reviews and I realized I don't really know their hours either and I have frequented there A LOT over the last 5 years that I've worked back in dtwn Mpls.
Anyway... on to the good stuff!
Service: ALWAYS GOOD service. The three-four ppl that work there know you by face and you're spoken to with either a smiley face or a smiley disposition. They get you in and out very quickly, but not in a rushed manner.
Food: ALWAYS GOOD.. i usuallly get chicken and rice with veggies and a lot of extras (fresh grilled peppers and onion, jalapeno or tomato salsa, etc) or a salad bar. Yesterday i was CRAAAAAVING tacos and had their Thursday special (*tacos) and got three tacos with a salad bar. You're given the option of chicken, chipotle chicken or gyro meat and your options of toppings.
Ambiance: You blink, you may miss the spot... very small, located on first floor, adjacent to the escalators in the AT&T Tower / Oracle Building. Literally across the street from Key's Cafe. (If you're standing outside of Keys on 9th, you'll be looking at a double door and to the left to the dbl doors are some table and chairs, which is Valentino's, which you can see thru the glass walls.) The have what looks like a buffet style/cafeteria style execution to their service and once you walk in the doors, you must start at the opposite end to begin your order.
Trust me, you want to try Valentino's. -

I have been walking by this shop early in the morning for months and had the rare chance to stop in before the lunch rush to get a chicken & bacon burrito.
It has to be THE BEST burrito I've had since coming to the Twin Cities. The veggies were fresh, the chicken was right off the roaster. If there were a downside, the bacon was precooked and cold but given that I didn't eat the burrito until lunch a couple of hours later, it wasn't a big deal.
Anyway, if you're looking for a good place to eat, not too expensive and a lot of food for lunch, I highly recommend Valentino's Cafe!
(Located on 9th St in between the Oracle and AT&T buildings). -

Really wanted something fresh and halfway healthy for lunch. Walked here from the convention center (about 5 mins away) and had the best Greek salad I've had in quite awhile. The guy making it also treated it like an art form like the famous "Salt Bae" of quick-bite cuisine. Definitely recommend this for lunch if you're in the area.

Food tastes amazing, great prices and friendly service everytime I go there. Make sure you get a side and load it up with fruit, veggies and the rotisserie chicken!
